You are a beautiful writer and an encouraging soul. I love that about you. Hey, nothing wrong with untraditional and a bit of rebel---it's where we find our spot in the world.
I am an unwriter. I used to blog and for some unknown reason I got to 499 posts and quit. I get far more joy out of helping authors with their writing, blog posting, book promotions, idea bouncer. I see no reason to write unless on a rare occasion I feel like I have something to say. I may or may not ever write consistently again. If not, that's ok. If I do that's ok.
I have met you and taken a couple workshops from you. I know you are a writer and Editor and the fact that you were asked to teach classes and the fact that you are professional editor should give you all the confidence you need to go after the writing life you want...... If you want it. Go for it!
Jane, thank you for that encouragement! (And I remember meeting you, and appreciate your support over the years.) Both writing and editing hold a special place in my heart. We'll see what happens. :)
My heart resonates with your words and the journey behind them. I too am finding my way back to words that tug at my soul, yearning to be released into the vast and wild unknown. I am perhaps too "un" for my own good—naturally resistant to the tethers of platform building and self-promotion. Yet, I am perpetually drawn to the pen by an internal gravity with which I am forced to reconcile. I know this is my heart calling and, un-natural or not, I am praying for the wisdom and humility to navigate the necessary path to walk in obedience.
You are an amazing editor and helped me win awards and become a best selling author. I’m untraditional and a bit of a rebel in a good way.

Beautiful words, friend! I love that you are finding your way back to the words that tug at your soul. That is incredibly beautiful.
